On January 21, 2020, the Cabinet of Ministers officially announced us as the winners of the competition, and already on June 26, 2020, the concession agreement was signed. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky was present at the signing of the agreement.
According to the signed agreement, the concessionaire undertakes to pay annually a concession payment in the amount of at least UAH 12 million, taking into account indexation and 7% of the concessionaire's net income, and within the first 3.5 years from the date of the end of the transition period, invest at least UAH 216 million in the facility, and within the first 10 years - an additional at least UAH 62 million, and in addition, ensure the volume of transshipment of the port's cargo in 2030 at the level of at least 1,360,000 tons. Also, the concessionaire must make a contribution to the development of local infrastructure in the amount of at least UAH 18 million, including providing co-financing for the overhaul of the road surface of the streets on the way to the port.
nfortunately, for many years SE "Kherson Sea Commercial Port" has been in the difficult financial situation cause by serious errors and miscalculations in managing the port, which, as a consequence, resulted in decline I in the turnover and the revenues. Our goal is to turn the Port of Kherson into a modern enterprise, to create a truly Sea Gate of the Dnieper and a logistics hub of central and eastern parts of Ukraine, to build businesslioe and partnership relations with those who are working with the port today and are interested in of the Port of Kherson in the future.
To preserve the name and history of Kherson Commercial Sea Port, we have decided to rename Risoil-Kherson LLC to the Port of Kherson LLC. To create a new logo, which we think combines both the name and the goal of the enterprise. Using social media and our website, we will regularly inform about the work of the Port of Kherson and about those projects that will be carried out in the port.
